Chia Morning Mocktail
Soak your chia seeds overnight and wake up with my refreshing and tropical not-too-sweet superfood concoction! The trendy chia deserves its positive reputation, being loaded with fiber, protein, and antioxidants. This is a great energy booster for any time of day- just pour it into a reusable bottle and store in the fridge!
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup (1 dL) water
1/4 cup (1/2 dL) freshly squeezed orange or tangerine juice
Pulp of one passion fruit, optional
Soak the chia seeds in the water for at least 20 minutes. The longer the better! Add to a glass with your juice and pulp, stir, and enjoy!
