Dark Chocolate Chunk Scones (paleo, gluten free, dairy free)
Makes 6 scones
With Easter around the corner I’m stepping up my scone game! I’ve added a twist to one of my earliest Love2Eat2Love recipes called Mom’s Banana Scones. All you need is 15 minutes and 7 basic ingredients for a nutritious and delicious treat.
2 ripe bananas
1 cup (2.5 dl) almond flour
2 Tbs coconut flour
2 tsp baking powder
Pinch sea salt
Handful of dark chocolate chips or smash up some dark chocolate squares (I use Lindt Excellence 85%)
Preheat oven to 400 F/205 C. Mash up the bananas in a bowl using a fork. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Spoon onto a lined baking sheet, creating 6 medium sized mounds. Bake 10-15 minutes until springy and starting to brown on top. Serve with my homemade Chia Jam!
