Ginger is used to fight the flu, relieve muscle soreness, help with indigestion, even lower the risk of infection. Combine that with the sunny grapefruit’s boost of vitamins and you’ve got yourself a glass of good health! (I also find that adding grapefruit takes the edge off a shot of straight ginger, without adding a lot of sugar.)
One medium grapefruit, peeled and roughly chopped
1-2 thumb sized pieces of fresh ginger, peeled
Juice the grapefruit and one piece of ginger. Taste and see if you dare to add the second piece of ginger!
