This deliciously rich and chocolatey drink take about 5 minutes to make and is perfect for surviving the cold weather. You won’t believe it’s dairy free and naturally sweetened!
1 cup (2.5 dl) milk of choice (I like roasted unsweetened almond milk)
2 Tbsp cacao or cocoa
1-2 dates (use 2 if you like it sweet)
1 Tbsp almond butter (optional but recommended)
1 tsp vanilla
Heat up your milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk to combine. Leave to simmer for 5 minutes or until the dates are soft and the temperature is to your liking. Pour into a blender (I cover the hole with a cloth to avoid any pressure-related accidents) and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
