Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Chunks (gluten free)
I saw this crazy easy recipe on @thefoodgrinder and had to try it! Definitely my new favorite protein-boosted treat. If using a sugar free protein powder you might want to add a squeeze of honey.
100 grams dark chocolate
1 scoop chocolate whey protein protein
Honey, to taste (optional)
Natural unsweetened peanut butter, to drizzle
Unsweetened shredded coconut, for topping
Melt the chocolate in the microwave, 30 seconds at a time. Add the protein powder and stir to mix. Add honey if needed. Spread onto a piece of parchment paper. Microwave your peanut butter in the microwave so it melts enough that you can drizzle it over the chocolate. Sprinkle over the shredded coconut, and place in the freezer for 20 minutes. Remove from the freezer and break into chunks. Store in the fridge.
