Skinny Cheeseburger (gluten free, nut free)
Craving a juicy cheeseburger but looking for an easy, homemade, low-carb version? Wrapping your patty in lettuce is one way to replace those fluffy white buns, but if you want to avoid the entire patty-making ordeal and you aren’t a fan of having juices run down your fingers and hands, I can recommend this simple cheeseburger wrap! 500 grams ground-beef
2 Tbsp ketchup
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp black pepper
4-6 large tortillas of choice (whole wheat, gluten free, etc.)
Cheese of choice
Toppings: sliced tomato, avocado, lettuce, ketchup
Mix the ground beef with the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Brown in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain the fat. Add a few spoonfuls of meat to the center of your tortillas. Top with cheese and other toppings of choice. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll them up like a burrito, placing them fold side down while you heat up a Tbsp of butter or oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place your wraps (1 or 2 at a time depending on the size of the skillet) fold side down in the pan. Once golden brown, flip to brown the other side. Remove and repeat with all four wraps. Slice in half and serve immediately.
