The KO Shake
Makes one large shake
Research shows that chocolate milk is great for recovery after a tough workout. It provides an ideal carbohydrate-protein ratio that refuels muscles. Plus, it’s cheap and easy to find. This shake tastes like chocolate-raspberry cake (you don’t even notice the spinach!), and I made it in celebration of my friend Kelley O’Hara, who is @builtwithchocolatemilk and just qualified for the Olympics with the US Women’s National Team!
1 cup low fat chocolate milk
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
Handful of greens (spinach or kale)
